Observation Of A Parity-Time-Symmetry Phase Transition In A Fiber Cavity
Abstract
We predict and experimentally demonstrate that the lasing threshold can be lowered by virtue of PT-symmetry, and for the first time observe PT-symmetry-breaking in a long fiber cavity despite the presence of random phase fluctuations.
