Remote Mode-Forming Over Multimode Fiber Employing Single-Ended Channel Estimation
Abstract
Mode-forming over multimode fiber without access to the remote end is needed for endoscopic imaging and beam steering. We use reflective spatial pilots and transmitter-side MIMO to form uncoupled spatial and polarization modes at the remote end.
