Extending The Uv Supercontinuum By Tapering Gas-Filled Hollow-Core Anti-Resonant Fibers
Abstract
Resonant radiation phase-matched to a soliton in gas-filled hollow-core fibers is an efficient femtosecond UV source. By tapering the fiber our simulations show that the supercontinuum can be significantly extended into the extreme ultra-violet.
