Silicon Nitride Grating Couplers With High Efficiency And Wide Bandwidth
Abstract
A grating coupler for coupling vertically emitted laser light into planar silicon nitride waveguides is presented. The waveguide coupling efficiency was measured at 30% with a 3-dB bandwidth of 100 nm using an optical fiber.
