Abstract
In this paper, a dual resonant, electronically-reconfigurable, phase-agile reflectarray element is presented. The element operates at X band and supports two linear polarizations. Reconfigurability is enabled through the symmetric placement of varactors across gaps in both resonant elements. The use of a dual resonant structure creates a phase range in excess of 450 degrees with an average loss of 2.7 dB.
