This digital repository is an Open Educational Resource designed to support educators interested in exploring African American history and the experiences of marginalized communities through images from St. Augustine, Florida. The content was captured during the Spring Break Study Away course, IDS 4912: Reviving the Past – Researching Lost Communities, held from March 6–12, 2022. The course centered on Lincolnville, St. Augustine’s historic African American district, and examined broader themes of displacement and historical erasure across the United States. This project was made possible with support from the U.S. Department of Education and the UCF College of Undergraduate Studies.
