Project Abstract, Summary, or Creative Statement
This experiment is testing if listening to audio stimulation (words) affects the translation of words on a screen in bilinguals. Auditory stimuli is played in either or both ears at the same time that a word is presented on screen. The task is to translate what is presented on a screen into either Spanish or English and to ignore the distracting auditory stimuli. Results are interpreted by latency time and produced errors. Monolinguals are also tested to compare data.
