Teaching & Learning with AI

Description

This session explores applying Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles through AI to support students with disabilities and promote inclusive teaching. We’ll share scenarios demonstrating how AI tools enhance accessibility, enable adaptive learning, and integrate assistive technologies such as speech-to-text and alternative text generators. Attendees will see live demonstrations of free tools, learn about funded options, and gain practical strategies for implementation in their own contexts. Designed for librarians but relevant to all educators, the session concludes with a Q&A focused on real-world applications and invites audience collaboration. Presenters are academic librarians from two institutions.
