Abstract
This was a presentation for the 2022 Electronic Resources & Libraries Conference. Presentation abstract: Escalating textbook costs are of increasing concern to students, faculty, and administrators. This mixed-methods study examined a high-enrollment medical terminology course that adopted a library-sourced eBook instead of a traditional textbook. We used the COUP (cost, outcomes, usage, perceptions) framework to analyze survey responses (149) and focus group feedback (8).
