Abstract
The presentation at the 2023 Designing for Digital Conference explains the value of using Universal Design for Learning (UDL) guidelines proactively to design accessible videos in response to a new policy adopted at one librarian’s university; it challenges a common view that adding captions is all that is required to create accessible videos.
