Biology Professor and Chair and Digital Media Chair David Vickers. He received his PhD in Biology from LSU and joined FTU in its second year. He was Chair of Biology for 18 years, and then served as interim Digital Media Chair. He also worked in the upper administration in both the College of Arts and Sciences as well as the College of Arts and Humanities. He retired in 2004, and passed away in 2009
