Research and Archives Committee is responsible for researching best practices, policies, and procedures at other universities and colleges. The research results would be drawn upon to formulate recommendations to the university administration for new programs, enhancements, trends, and changes that could be made by the university to benefit its staff. Research efforts by the committee would not only be relative to university-employee interests, but also to inform comparatives, improvements, and the natural ongoing evolution of the council and its Charter as well. This committee is further responsible for official council archives.
