Description
The Staff Advisory Council met on April 16, 2025, from 9:30–11:07 a.m., with HR Compensation representative Patrick Higman providing an overview of compensation responsibilities, recent decentralization of pay decisions to departments, and a pause on career pathway development projected to take 2–6 years. The council approved prior minutes, reviewed a total financial balance of $7,125.65, and heard committee updates including ADA website improvements, streamlined scholarship applications launching in the fall, upcoming Administrative Professionals Day recognition, increasing parking fines, and officer elections in May/June. In new business, the council voted (91% approval) to remove the distinction between USPS and A&P employee representation to ensure full council membership before adjourning the meeting.
