The Staff Advisory Council met on September 17, 2025, from 9:30–10:41 a.m., featuring guest speakers Carl Metzger, who reviewed Public Safety and threat management procedures following a recent email threat and announced a statewide university Safety Summit on October 8, and Elizabeth Richner, who highlighted upcoming HR events including the Benefits Fair on October 9 and Open Enrollment from October 13–31. The council approved prior minutes, reviewed a total financial balance of $7,784.99, and received committee updates on social media promotion, live scholarship applications with plans to add additional awards and participate in Day of Giving, and the introduction of a new council member. New business included noting staff representation on the newly formed AI for All Advisory Committee and a suggestion to create a staff task force before adjourning.
