Achievements

In 2006, I was assigned to a targeting unit that utilized the AN/TPQ-37 Firefinder Radar to provide for counterfire missions on enemy targets in the Diyala province of Iraq. I also provided information through visual surveillance of insurgent activity in the city of Baquba. In 2007-2008 I was assigned to the same unit but this time along the border of Iran. On July 11th I experienced a close call rocket attack and damage to the tent I was in at the time of the attack and ultimately lost one of the soldiers attached to my radar section.
