The Women's Hospitality Leadership Forum is happy to be a designated CMP provider. Conference attendees can earn up to five CE’s from the sessions they attend during the one-day forum. Please see the schedule for number of credits per session.


UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management proudly presents the 2nd Women’s Hospitality Leadership Forum, Pathways to Success, on Friday, March 31, 2017 conducted on the UCF Rosen College Campus. Keynote speakers this year include:

  • Salli Setta, President, Red Lobster
  • Mary Lynn Clark, President, Wyndham Vacation Rentals North America
  • Dr. Maria Cristina Santana, Associate Professor and Program Director for UCF Women's and Gender Studies
  • Alpana Singh, Master Sommelier, Restaurateur & Television Host

In addition, a panel led by UCF's Dr. Amy Gregory includes: Melissa Boutwell, Director of Utilities & Optimization Strategies, Orange County Convention Center; Mary Lynn Clark, President, Wyndham Vacation Rentals North America; Carolina Lacerda, Vice President, Jones Lang LaSalle; and Eris Sims, Senior Director of Events Planning, NAACP. Afternoon workshops will present a variety of content targeted at those attendees in their early-mid and mid-late careers, and include: Elizabeth Espinosa, Executive Assistant Manager of Rooms, The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, Pudong; Nikole Fridenmaker, CMP, Association of Change Management Professionals; Lillie Espinosa, Executive Career Coach, Lee Hecht Harrison; and back by popular demand, Barbara Bowden, Complex Managing Director, Loews Universal Orlando & Thea Sargent, General Manager, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, The Walt Disney Company.

The 2nd Women's Hospitality Leadership Forum is open to students, faculty, and hospitality industry professionals. This day is filled with inspirational and purposeful content, aimed toward elevating both the current and next generation of women hospitality executives. Held on March 31, 2017, the last day of Women's History Month, the Forum is geared toward recognizing the unique contributions of women in our industry. Please join us for an exciting conference uniquely focused on women’s leadership in the lodging, food and beverage, tourism, theme park, and event management sectors.

New this year as an added value to the Women's Hospitality Leadership Forum 2017, will be an opportunity to speak one-on-one with women leaders in our industry. A "Speed" Career Counseling session is scheduled 12:45 PM to 1:15 PM, immediately following the buffet luncheon. Conference attendees will be able to sign up for a 10-minute face-to-face session in which they may seek career advice from one of our esteemed counselors.
