Mission

The mission of the Women’s Hospitality Leadership Forum (WHLF) is to join industry leaders, employees, and students to promote leadership excellence among women in all segments of the hospitality industry.

Conference Aims

The Women's Hospitality Leadership Forum was an idea that came to fruition through the initiative of the UCF National Society of Minorities in Hospitality (NSMH) and the support of UCF's Rosen College of Hospitality Management, with our first conference held in 2015. Our theme this year is Pathways to Success, as we seek to advance and support women in the lodging, food and beverage, tourism, theme park, and event management sectors. This unique forum will offer inspiring keynote speakers, networking opportunities, breakfast, lunch, "speed career counseling" sessions, and two specialized workshop tracks catering to women in both their early and mid to late careers.

The Women’s Hospitality Leadership Forum is happy to be a designated CMP provider.

NSMH Mission

Since 2002, the University of Central Florida (UCF) Chapter of the National Society of Minorities in Hospitality (NSMH) has worked diligently to serve the UCF community to embrace diversity in the hospitality industry. NSMH is a student-run organization which carries chapters all over the nation. Our mission is to aid in the advancement of minorities in the hospitality industry and we are proud to present the 2nd Women's Hospitality Leadership Forum, an event that fulfills our goal of building professionalism among minority students.
