From artist statement:
This artist book allowed me to express a very difficult mental state I use to have when making art. I tried to visually translate the frustration of getting an idea for an art project, but then my brain wouldn’t allow me to go through with it. This artist book shows the flow of thought through the river visual portion, while going in a circle that abruptly stops. My book taps into the psyche of art making, but specifically the frustrating portion where the ideas do not set past the mind.
