Description
From artist statement:
The booklet codex was created to work with the development of a foam plate pattern resembling the brain. The purpose of the book is to enjoy reading a poem as though it was a thought flying through the brain (on a blue line). I chose to the poem, “The Voice” by Shel Silverstein specifically because of its relating theme and for the reason that I read a lot of his poems as a kid and some of them have stuck with me for a long time (taking up room in my brain so to speak). The pattern was created using text and cover weight paper, a provisional press, and a handcut foam plate.
