Description

From artist statement:

Humans are like plants. It requires a specific environment to allow us to grow into who we are meant to be. The idea behind “Humans are Like Plants”, is to illustrate how blockages caused by society inhibit us from growing into who we want to be. It explores the limits a pandemic puts billions of people around the world in. The pandemic might have been a good time to look inward, but it put a pause on a lot of creative spaces. This piece is meant to represent how stuck we all felt during these “unprecedented times.” Despite it all, with the right amount of water, sunlight and vaccinations, humans can continue to grow during this pandemic.
