The Celebration is an opportunity for UCF librarians and DirectConnect librarians as well as our respective library administrators to meet, learn and share ideas, particularly as we all will engage with many of the same students at some point. Student academic success is essential to all of us, and to a significant degree depends on their ability to locate and ethically use information from a variety of library sources. Supporting student attainment of information literacy competencies is a role we all share.
