She is wearing a dark-colored printed dress and white shoes. The remaining women in the photograph are unidentified. They are all wearing hats, dresses, heeled shoes, and are carrying handbags. Some are wearing eyeglasses. On the back of the image is written, "National Council of Negro Women Meeting, 1930s." The photographer of the image is unknown.
