Bonnie Burn, aka Switzer Estate, belonged to Charles R. Switzer. He was a Rollins trustee from 1914 to 1928. It was located on Lake Sue, now Pennsylvania Ave. The viewpoint was from the south of the train station.

Biographical Note
Charles R. Switzer built 'Bonnie Burn' on Lake Sue (1883) from MacDowell's History of Winter Park, p. 25. Information on the Switzer Family taken from the Winter Park Scrapbook (Loring Chase scrapbook) 1885. Mr. and Mrs. Switzer and Mrs. Clarence Alcott and baby left their homes in Illinois. 1887 the site for the Bonnie Burn railroad station. 1905 the Doctor's home on the north shore of Lake Sue.
