Black-and-white photograph of the Old Winter Park Hotel taken in 1890, with guests standing on the porch and balcony. The hotel is located next to what is currently Taylor's Pharmacy. In 1900 the hotel was vacant and rundown. F.W. Shepherd opened a skating rink there in either 1904 or 1906, but it did not pay and soon was discontiuned. Maxon's drugstore and post office occupied the building next door, which is currently Taylor's Pharmacy (information was inscribed in ink on the back of the photograph.
