Description

As reported in the synodical publication, "The Lutheran Reporter" c.1966, Martha Virginia Mikler, daughter of Paul and Virginia Mikler and granddaughter of Slavia founders, Joseph and Katarina Mikler, was named "Miss Oviedo" and represented the city in the Apopka Foliage Festival. Martha was a graduate of St. Luke's Lutheran School and excelled in her student career at Oviedo High School.; Clipping (no page number or date of publication visible) from "The Lutheran Reporter" a publication of the Lutheran Church Mo.
