Description

A resolution of the Board of Directors of St. Luke's Lutheran Church was filed with Seminole County in Florida on August 27, 1965. Signed by Ferdinand Duda, Sr. (Secretary of the Board), this document was filed as a request to change the official name of the church's cemetery grounds. Previously shown in county records as "Slovak Lutheran Cemetery," the congregation (having already changed its name from "St. Luke's Slovak Evangelical Lutheran Church" to "St. Luke's Lutheran Church"), now wished to change the name of its cemetery property to "St. Luke's Lutheran Church Cemetery" in the official county records.
