Description

Image of a certificate of recognition awarded to Daniel V. Lukas for his "loyal military service to God and country" during World War II. c. 1945 Rev. Stephen M. Tuhy signed the certificate on behalf of "St. Luke's Slovak Evangelical Lutheran Church, Slavia, Florida." It is likely that a few other young men of the congregation received similar recognition. 8x10 B&W print, scanned on Epson 10000XL at SLLC, August, 2011.
