First brick church
Description
Newly built brick church, c. 1939-1940, with people gathered outdoors in what seems to be a "receiving line," possibly for the dedication of the building or some other special event. Among the crowd is at least one Pastor (unidentified), who can be distinguished from his clerical robes. Several cars (vintage unknown) can be seen in parking lot, with additional people either arriving or departing from the scene. Snapshot (Courtesy: Elaine Lavender) scanned, 2001, SLLS, for 90th anniversary display.
