Description

In an article written by Mark Pankowski and published in the Seminole Extra section of "The Orlando Sentinel" on October 21, 1990, Rev. E.J. Rossow is interviewed about the congregation's dilemma in accommodating the 500 new members who joined St. Luke's during the 8 years of his ministry. The article's title, "Worshipers Face Tough Choice" sums up the dilemma that led to a compromise solution: to retain the portion of the brick church built in 1939, but to demolish the sections added in 1957 in order to have space for a large new sanctuary, offices and classrooms. A colored photo of the recently-remodeled altar area accompanied the article.
