Description

In 1957, the members of St. Luke's dedicated their newly expanded and remodeled faciilty. The small brick church erected in 1939 was no longer large enough for the congregation's needs, so that structure was elongated and two large transepts were added to create a "cruciform shape" for the facility. Some of the earliest images of the new addition were likely taken even before the dedication of the worship space on May 5, 1957.
