Description

Walter and Judy Duda are married at St. Luke's on June 14, 1959 and kneel in the chancel of the (1957) brick church as Rev. Stephen M. Tuhy pronounces the wedding blessing. The groom was the grandson of Andrew Duda, Sr. (a founder of the church and the Slavia Colony community) and the bride (nee Judith De Coste) had been called (from Concordia College in Chicago)to teach at St. Luke's School in January,1958. A separate photo of the couple immediately following the ceremony is included.
