Description
After more than 50 years of serving the children of St. Luke's members and the larger community, St. Luke's Lutheran School moved to a new two-story building during the 2001-02 school year. The structure stands immediately to the east of the church facility. In 1947, the school (with one teacher and 12 students) operated in the small wood structure once used as a church. The first permanent school building, erected in 1949 and expanded several times in the decades following, was preserved for use in other St. Luke's ministries and programs
