Church directory photos of Ann Sobek Rook and her husband, Seth Rook. Anne was the daughter of Anna 'nee Klimek and Andrew Sobek, Sr. The Klimek and Sobek families are considered to be Founding Families of Slavia, since they were involved in the building of the community and church from the earliest days. Although maintaining primary residences and careers in Lakewood, Ohio, the eldest members of both families returned to Slavia to live out their final years.
