Description

The Lutheran Haven's first "Children's Home" was dedicated in 1948. The Haven later built a second home for teens (1964) and maintained this residential ministry for children until the program was phased out gradually and ended in 1976. The original children's cottage was converted to a community daycare program and the building which had housed teenagers was converted to the Lutheran Haven Administration Building and guesthouse.
