Description

Rev. Edwin J. Rossow (b. Dec.1, 1930-d.May 6, 2005)served as St. Luke's Senior Pastor from March, 1982 to his retirement in 2000. He trained at Concordia College, Ft. Wayne and Concordia Seminary, St. Louis and served congregations in Detroit and Marengo, IL before assuming his role at St. Luke's. He was married to LaDonna Albers; the Rossows were blessed with 5 children. Under Pastor Rossow's leadership, St. Luke's experienced exponential growth and dedicated a large new sanctuary in 1993. Photos here from 1986-1991, many taken in his study during the period when the church office was temporarily housed in the former parsonage, prior to the construction of a new sanctuary.
