Description
John Duda, a teenager at the time this photo was taken, is seen at work in a furniture factory in Cleveland, OH, c.1920. For a period of 10 years, beginning in 1916, the Andrew Duda, Sr. Family returned to Ohio to earn sufficient capital to farm the 40 acres they had purchased in Slavia in 1911. Upon their return, they built their first home on their property on Mikler Road in Slavia and incorporated their family business as A. Duda & Sons
