Colored photo of Mr. and Mrs. John Duda, Sr., c. 1970. Katherine (Katie) Mikler was John's first wife, but she passed away in 1974, after 50 years of marriage. She was the oldest daughter of Joseph Mikler, Sr. and was only about 1 year old when her family moved to Florida to found the Slavia community and St. Luke's Church.
