Her left hand rests in her lap, and she is wearing a ring on her left ring finger and wrist watch. She is dressed in a long-sleeved dress. On the back of the image is written, "Mrs. Bethune 1915; Bethune-Cookman College." The photographer's stamp is also on the back of the photograph.
