Description

A black and white photograph of the Bethune-Cookman football team for the year 1925. The team is posed on the steps of Cookman Hall. The brick edifice and columns can be seen in the photograph. The team is wearing their football uniforms, knee pads, and some are wearing leather helmets. There is a small boy in the second row holding a football with the year "1925" written on the front. The man seated all the way at the right in the second row is Edward Rodriguez, Mary McLeod Bethune's foster son. He has his elbows resting on his knees. The person sitting all the way at the right in the third row with the letter "H" on his sweater is Buck Hunt. The photographer of the image is unknown.
