Description
A black and white image of a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Ja-Flo Davis Residence Hall. There are two lines of people on each side of the double-glass doors, five in the left line and four on the right line. All of the men and women present are wearing graduation-type attire, with caps, tassels, and gowns. Mr. Lloyd is the man holding the scissors to the cut the ribbon in the left line. Vera Friend is second from the left in this line as well. The men and women in the right line are holding pieces of paper in their hands. The woman at the end of the line is also holding a handbag. On the front of the image is faintly written "Ja-Flo," indicating the residence hall. On the back of the image is written in pencil "Ribbon-cutting Ja-Flo Davis dorm, BCC trustees at graduation exercises, early 1980s." There is also the stamp of the photgrapher, which includes the studio address and phone number.
