Anna Kross is seated at the left and is wearing a floral dress, a broach, and eyeglasses. She is resting her right arm on her handbag. Mary McLeod Bethune is seated at the right and is wearing a light-colored suit and is resting her arms on the table. Behind them can be seen bushes, plants, and part of an unidentifiable building. A chair is also placed off to the left over Judge Kross's shoulder. On the back of the photograph is written in pencil the date, location, and persons present in the photograph. The photographer of the image is unknown.
