Color tone photographic postcard of the Cypress Methuselah in Longwood, Fla. Text on back of postcard: "The big Cypress tree is located near Longwood, Fla. midway between Orlando and Sanford. It is said to be the largest tree east of California. It is 47 feet in circumfrance at its base, and is 127 feet in height. It is also supposed to be the oldest tree in the U.S.A. The estimated age being between 2,000 and 3,000 years."

The back of the photograph indicates that Filingham pitched for Charleston in the South Atlantic division in 1916, and he also played for the Orlando team, and went on to play in the majors.

Hardly a thousand miles from Greater New York one may find the most delicate and delightful tropical scenery and may dwell in a climate which neither Hawaii nor southern Italy can excel. Members of the young congregation of St. Luke's are gathered (c. 1915)to dedicate the ground they had purchased for use as a cemetery. This site (near Redbug Road and west of Mikler Road) was never used as a cemetery, however. congregation later purchased a new piece of land near the intersection of SR 426 and Chapman Road. Delta Sigma Theta sorority
A black and white image of Delta Sigma Theta probates, or sorority sisters who have not reached full status with the sorority. The women are wearing matching outfits, which conists of white overcoats, blouses, skirts, stockings, and high-heeled shoes. In addition, they are each carrying a stuffed animal in the shape of a duck, and a plate of food with a sandwich and small box of milk on top. They are most likely participating in an initiation rite. Behind them can be seen the exterior of Faith Hall, which has a covered entranceway with a sign that reads, "Class of '60." A palm tree also stands behind them. On the back of the photograph is the note, "Delta's probates." The photographer of the image is unknown.

At the left is a small girl who is wearing a red dress, watching everyone walk by. A male spectator can also be seen at the right. In the background are large palm and oak trees. A black and white image of Edward Van Poole at Bethune-Cookman University. He is wearing a shirt shirt and a tie, and is operating a wood-cutting machine. The machine has a large wheel and saw blade. He appears to be standing in a machine shop. On the back of the image is written the follow description: "Edward Van Poole: drove the mule and wagon [carrying the institute records] from Cookman Institute (Jax [Jacksonville]) to Daytona Normal School for Girls after the merger; was a member of the vocational school of Bethune-Cookman College."
