Description
Mary Rubin interviews Victoria Medeiros, a 23-year-old graduate student that studies higher education and student personnel, via Zoom about the impact of COVID-19 on her life. Just before classes went remote, UCF was on Spring Break and Victoria went on a cruise and to Massachusetts. Upon her return, she was required to quarantine. Victoria works for campus housing and as part of her job, she must live on campus, so she had the opportunity of living on campus throughout the remainder of spring and summer 2020, which was uncommon. COVID-19 also affected Victoria’s internship and getting to know her peers in her program.
