Description
Mary Rubin interviews Sira Ambrosecchia, Coordinator for Administrative Services for the History Department in the College of Arts and Humanities, via Zoom about the impact of COVID-19 on her life. Sira gives insight on how faculty and staff shifted from in office to online. Sira elaborates on the disconnect that she felt from her coworkers even though they would regularly talk virtually. She misses seeing them and celebrating with them. She speaks about the department events and holiday celebrations and how they are different this year. On the positive side, she has enjoyed being with her kids more often and doesn’t miss her commute. In her spare time, she is a den leader, overseeing third graders. She covers how COVID-19 has impacted the scouts in her troop. Sira also talks about her children’s adjustment to school at home.
