Description
Mary Rubin interviews Darwins Olcima, a 23-year-old graduate of UCF, via Zoom about the impact of COVID-19 on his life. Graduated in Spring 2020, Darwins studied Psychology and received a certificate in Leadership Studies at UCF. Prior to COVID-19 becoming prevalent, Darwins was excited to close out his college experience; however, the pandemic severely changed his last semester. On top of his studies, he was a resident assistant, and he was able to stay on campus once everything became remote. After graduating, Darwins moved to attend Bowling Green State University in Ohio to study Student Success. Darwins strives to find new and creative ways to engage students.
