Description
Scott Galloway interviews Bradley Park, a 21-year-old senior student that studies Economics and History, via Zoom about the impact of COVID-19 on his life. Bradley notes an early instance of COVID-19 which he suspects occurred during January of 2020. As a UCF student, Bradley lived at UCF’s Towers dormitory. Shortly after spring break, he was encouraged to stay at home and was not expecting to have this occur. His courses moving online seemed to indicate that professors were not prepared for the move online. Bradley stayed sane during the pandemic through the use of popular social media to connect with his friends. He returned to Orlando in the fall of 2020 getting an off-campus apartment with the hope to have in-person classes. He had one in-person class during spring of 2021. He reflects on how professors handled the pandemic throughout the different semesters. He also appreciated the time he had to get to know his girlfriend better. Bradley concludes with a statement regarding taking the pandemic seriously and following the regulations given to combat the pandemic.
