Abstract
This piece looks at contemporary organizations through the eyes of one of American literature's most famous fictional characters, Huckleberry Finn. The dialogue and setting are recreations of those found in The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. The specific events in this story, while representative of the type found in the original novel by Mark Twain, have been created to illustrate the points being made by contemporary organizational theorists.
