Abstract
The power-law scaling behavior via a multifractal model for a passive scalar diffusing in a random velocity field breaks down in an intermediate dissipation range. However, upon using a suitable rescaling, the multifractal in question is shown still to exhibit a multi-scaling behavior with certain universal features.
