    Abstract

    We consider further extensions and generalizations of Kraichnan's eddy-viscosity model (KEVM). The connections between KEVM and Heisenberg's and Von Karman's inertial-transfer models are explored. Effects of compressibility and intermittency are investigated. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V.
