Abstract
The Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) heat pump model was implemented in DOE's EnergyPlus simulation software V7.0.0.036. To ensure an accurate implementation, the VRF heat pump computer model was extensively tested to identify possible discrepancies between the simulation results and manufacturer's performance data.
